Developing the next generation
The Joe Ledley Football Academy was founded in 2022 with the aim of making high quality football coaching accessible to all children.
We provide a professional, safe and fun environment for your child to develop and excel under the guidance of qualified and experienced coaches in a number of settings all year round. From 3 year olds who have never kicked a ball, right through to advanced grass roots players looking to fulfil their potential. We provide a range of different sessions to cater for all ages and abilities. We believe in providing opportunities for all children, whether that is at an after school club on the school playground or at one of our elite development centres.
All of our coaches hold up to date DBS checks as well as relevant First Aid and Safeguarding children certificates.
At the Joe Ledley Football Academy we believe in developing people as well as players. We also understand the impact that our coaches can have on your child as role models to help develop their confidence, social skills, communication, leadership skills and emotional wellbeing, as well as their football skills.
Development Centres
Our development centres provide players age 6 – 12 the opportunity to develop under the guidance of highly qualified FA coaches.
Holiday Camps
Children aged 5 – 12 of all abilities. can get active and develop their football skills in a safe, FUN environment.
Schools
Our after school clubs provide an opportunity for children of all ages and abilities to play football in the setting they know best.

After retiring from a career as a distinguished footballer, Joe launched the Joe Ledley Football Academy to give something back to the sport and provide opportunities for children from all communities to play football.
JAMES JENNISON
Director / Head of Recruitment & Coaching
James is a UEFA B license coach with over 15 years’ experience working with children of all ages from grass roots to professional clubs, as well as overseas in the USA. James is also a Level 3 tutor with vast experience in recruiting, training and developing coaches.
